The Mastery Yoga Mat is 2.6kg. It’s slighly heavier than other mats because of the 4mm high-density natural rubber for cushioning.
Yes, all our mats come with moisture-wicking and quick dry layers that absorbs sweat instantly and dry off in seconds. That provides the grip you need even with sweaty palms and during hot yoga sessions.
Oops! You found our flaws. Indeed, we are not perfect. While providing exceptional grip, the vegan leather top surface is not scratch-proof or scratch resistant.
That said, store it away from sharp objects. And try to remove and avoid objects with sharp edges (jewelries, keys, sharp nails, etc.) during your practice.
Cleaning and taking care of the Mastery Yoga Mat is easy. After each use, gently wipe the mat with a damped cloth and let it air dry before rolling.
We recommend using oil-free cleaning products or vinegar and warm water. Always keep the surface away from oil and fat (including any oil-based cleaning product), try to avoid having lotions on hands or feet before practice.
To protect the top surface of the mat, store it away from direct sunlight and avoid cubbies or storage areas with sharp edges that can leave a lasting mark.
