We don’t use any chemical additives to cover the smell of the natural rubber. That said, it’s safe to use as soon as you get it. If you may, leave the mat flat for 2-3 days before your first use.

Store out of direct sunlight.
Do not use any oil-based cleaning product on the mat.

It’s normal for the colour to change slightly over time.
